Jess Buttery, DVMDr. Jess Buttery, our Chief of Staff, received a Master's degree in Veterinary Microbiology from North Carolina State University. He then went on to earn a DVM degree from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. After veterinary school, he worked at Marineland of Florida, one of Florida's first marine mammal parks; Ringling Brothers Circus; and both large and small animal practices. Prior to Clarkson Veterinary Hospital, Dr. Buttery owned and practiced at East Avenue Animal Hospital in Brockport. He has a special interest in surgery, endoscopy, radiology, and microbiology.

At home, Dr. Buttery has two cats — a Ragdoll named Sparticus and a Russian Blue named G-man. He enjoys woodworking, canoeing, camping, music, photography, and hiking, and collecting antique woodworking tools. He also collects and uses antique woodworking tools to make Adirondack pack baskets and snowshoes.

Sabrina Miller, DVMDr. Sabrina Miller joined the Clarkson Veterinary Hospital team in 1997. She received a Bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Geneseo (SUNY Geneseo). She then went on to pursue a DVM degree at Ross University of School of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Miller shares her home with her husband, daughter, and cat, Trapper. When not at work, she enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with her family.
